For many years, residents of the 4 Roads have suffered unacceptably high levels of traffic through their narrow, local roads. 

 

Despite the fact that our roads are designated as “Access Roads” they are being improperly used as a rat run for school runs, commuters and large commercial vehicles on a daily basis.

 

The excessive levels of through traffic makes our 4 Roads dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians, especially children who attend the 3 secondary schools, 2 primary schools and a nursery school in the immediate area.

 

Pollution on the 4 Roads is far in excess of EU legal limits and is damaging the health of local residents and school children
